So...I recently drew a self portrait and submitted it to a high school statewide art contest along with another portrait I drew a while ago.
I hadn't planned on doing anything for the contest, but my dear friend Dylan convinced me.
Turns out this was quite profitable. I was very shocked to find out from my art teacher that "Innocence" had won both first place in drawing and best in show. Needless to say, I freaked a little. Juuuust a little. I won $600 dollars, $500 for best in show and $100 for first in drawing. My parents and siblings w
